COLUMBIA, Mo. -

For the fourth consecutive year, USA Swimming will make its way to Columbia for the Missouri Grand Prix Feb. 12-15 at the Mizzou Aquatics Center, hosting some of the world's best swimmers.

 

The event is the third in a series of eight meets held across the country that awards a cash prize to an overall winner at the end of the eight week competition season. Points are awarded for gold, silver and bronze medal finishes.

 

Competing in the events this weekend include Olympians Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, former Texas star Garrett Weber-Gale, Amanda Weir and Kosuke Kitajima. The meet will also feature current University of Missouri swimmers and divers, as they take a break from collegiate competition.
