LINCOLN, Neb. -
The Missouri women's golf team leads after two rounds of play at the Chip-N-Club Invitational in Lincoln, Neb. The Tigers will carry a four-shot lead into the final round on Tuesday after carding rounds of 299 and 291 on Monday for a two-round total of 590.
Host-school Nebraska and Sacramento State are tied for second place with 36-hole totals of 594, followed by Kansas with a 596 score.
Senior Michelle Morgan carded a back-to-back rounds of even-par 72 and stands in a tie for fourth place individually with a 144 score. Joining Morgan in the top-10 are senior Julia Potter (73-74) and freshman Ahnna Kim (75-72) who have 147 scores and are tied for ninth place.
Junior Nicola Race stands in a tie for 30th place with a 152 total after rounds of 79 and 73 on Monday, while sophomore Hannah Lovelock is in a tie for 30th spot with a 154 score.
Junior Lindsey Haupt is entered in the tournament as an individual and is tied for 56th place with a 161 total.
The final round will get underway on Tuesday morning.
