
Missouri Stands 13th in First Tournament of 2009

PARRISH, Fla. -- The Mizzou women's golf team opened its spring season by carding rounds of 318 and 308 on day one of the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. The Tigers' two-round total of 626 places them in 13th place heading into Tuesday's final round.
Junior Julia Potter leads Missouri with a two-round total of 150 after rounds of 76 and 74, putting her in a tie for 21st place.
Senior Chelsea Schriewer is tied for 49th spot with a 157 total with freshman Hannah Lovelock tied for 55th place with a two-round score of 159. Sophomore Lindsey Haupt has a 36-hole total of 161 and is in a tie for 61st place, while junior Michelle Morgan is in 69th place with a 164 score.
Auburn leads in the team standings with a 579 total, followed by LSU (589), Purdue (591) and Duke (592).
The final round of the Central District Invitational will get underway on Tuesday morning at the River Wilderness Golf Club in Parrish, Fla.
