Columbia, Mo - Senior Kristin Andrighetto will participate in the 2009 Chicago Red Stars combine, accepting an invitation from the Women's Professional Soccer team to tryout on December 10th and 11th at the MAX Indoor Soccer Center in McCook, Ill.
Andrighetto will have the opportunity to train for Chicago head coach Emma Hayes and her assistants, as well as other local coaches including those from the W-League's Chicago Red Eleven.
The tryout is scheduled to combine various technical and tactical training sessions, as well as testing from the Red Stars' fitness and weight trainer Tom Scott.
With the WPS entering its second season in 2010, this marks the second consecutive year Tigers' players have been invited to WPS tryouts. Last year, Missouri alums Jennifer Nobis and Kat Tarr were each selected in the 2009 WPS Draft following successful tryouts at league-hosted combines.

The offensive output pushed her career totals to 38 goals and 20 assists for 96 points at Missouri.
Andrighetto led the team in scoring three of her four years as a Tiger and holds several distinctions in the Missouri career record books. The Pleasant Hill, Calif.-native ranks first all-time in shots (379) and shots on goal (165), and sits in second in points (96), goals (38), and games played (85).
The 2010 WPS draft will be held Friday, January 15th at 8am CT at the NSCAA Annual Convention in Philadelphia.
