COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Mizzou track and field program will hold its annual Missouri Thrower Development Camp on Dec. 5-6 inside the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse. The camp will include the latest in technique, training and drills. It will be housed in the Indoor Track & Field facility of the Hearnes Center, giving athletes a chance to compete and train like Tigers. The environment will be fun, yet throws intensive, with comprehensive coverage of both shot put and discus.
The cost for the camp is $135 dollars for one day and $225 for both days while the cost is $100 dollars for coaches that are interested in attending the camp. Late fees of $15 will assessed to either the one or two day costs if payment is received after Nov. 30, while a $10 late fee will be assessed to any coaches payments received after Nov. 30.
The camp will feature six different event groups - glide shot only, rotational shot only, discus only, glide shot and discus, and rotational shot put and discus - as it looks to offer instructions that cater to each athlete's individual needs.
