BOULDER CREEK, Nev. - Sophomore Hannah Lovelock and junior Nicola Race led the Mizzou women's golf team in the final round of the Las Vegas Collegiate on Wednesday, as each carded rounds of 77 on a rainy and windy day at Boulder Creek Golf Club.
The Tigers shot a team score of 315 on Wednesday to finish with a three-round total of 925, placing in 16th place.
Lovelock's 77 on Wednesday gave her a 54-hole score of 221, putting her in a tie for ninth place, which is a new career best. Her three-round total of 221 is her best of the year.
Race and senior Michelle Morgan finished among a group tied for 63rd place with 234 totals. Junior Julia Potter tied for 75th place with a 236 total, while freshman Ahnna Kim took 90th place with a 255 score.
Mizzou will conclude the 2009 fall schedule with the Challenge at Onion Creek in Austin, Texas on Nov. 2-3.
