CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - The Mizzou men's golf team turned in rounds of 290 and 285 on day one of the Aldila Senic City Invite in Chattanooga, Tenn. on Monday. The Tigers' 36-hole total of 575 puts them in a tie for sixth place with Furman, 11 shots behind co-leaders Chattanooga and Wichita State.
Junior William Harrold and freshman Stuart Ballingall lead Missouri with two-round total of 141. Both carded a 71 in the opening round followed by a 70 in round two. They are among a group tied for 14th place in the individual standings.
Redshirt freshman Jace Long opened with a 75, followed by a 72 and is tied for 36th spot with a 147 total. Sophomore Chris Johnson and freshman Michael Garden are in a tie for 55th place with a two-round total of 150.
The final round of the Aldila Scenic City Invitational at the Council Fire Golf Club will be played on Tuesday.
