Mizzou's Statewide Outreach program continued on Thursday, as MU Director of Athletics Mike Alden, Associate Director of Media Relations Josh Murray and Director of Marketing Emily Janssen visited the communities of Concordia, Blue Springs, Alma, Blackburn, Malta Bend and Marshall.
After making a stop at Meyer Motors, Inc. in Concordia, the Mizzou staff members visited Evans Equipment, Inc. before heading to Blue Springs. The first visit in Blue Springs was to the Jackson County Extension office. Next up, the travel party attended the Blue Spring Chamber of Commerce luncheon, where Alden updated the crowd on the happenings at Mizzou.
Alden, Murray and Janssen then stopped at Santa Fe High School in Alma before making their way through Blackburn. The three then stopped at the Waggin' Wheel in Malta Bend.
Finally, the MU staffers visited Elmer Hare Ford in Marshall and then made a stop at the Saline County Extension Office before returning to Columbia.
