COLUMBIA, Mo. -- The Mizzou volleyball program's match with Big 12 rival Colorado on Oct. 7 has been chosen for a live television broadcast on the Mizzou Sports Network, as announced by the Mizzou Athletic Department on Monday (Sept. 28). The match will be the Tigers' first televised match of the 2009 season and will feature Beau Baehman on play-by-play and Craig Sherman as the color analyst. The match is the first of three live televised matches for the Tigers in 2009.
The Tigers currently stand at 10-4 on the season and rank in a tie for fourth in the Big 12 a 2-1 overall. Mizzou's win on Saturday over Texas A&M also improves the Tigers to 6-0 at home this season, their best home start since the 2003 campaign when they began the season 8-0 before falling to Texas. The match with Colorado is the Tigers' next home match of the season.
