Postgame Notes

Missouri (33-23, 1-1 in Pool Two)
• The Tigers are now 14-21 in Big 12 Championship play.
• Missouri falls to 12-3 in their last 15 games with the loss this afternoon.
• With the loss today, Mizzou drops to 1-1 in pool two. They must now defeat Oklahoma on Saturday and have Texas A&M beat Texas Tech to advance to the Championship game on Sunday.
• Missouri's total of four hits is the lowest the team has amassed since losing to Baylor 19-0 on April 11.
• Senior Aaron Senne led the Tiger offense going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
• Senior Kyle Mach had his 16-game hitting streak snapped. The streak was the longest at MU since 2006.

Texas Tech (25-31, 1-1 in Pool Two)
• The Red Raiders are now 13-19 in Big 12 Championship play.
• Tech kept its Big 12 Championship hopes alive with today's win. The Red Raiders must win on Saturday against Texas A&M and have Oklahoma lose its remaining games.
• With the win, Tech snaps a six-game losing streak in the Big 12 Championship dating back to May 25, 2005, when the eighth-seeded Red Raiders took down No. 1 seed Nebraska 5-3.
• Chris Richburg snapped his nine-game hitting streak, finishing 0-for-3.
• Taylor Ashby had his 22nd multiple-hit game of the season, going 2-for-4 with an RBI.
• Jeremy Mayo extended his total to 24 base runners caught stealing in a single season. He finished second in the Big 12 in this category in the regular season.
