Potter Tied for 24th at NCAA Regional

    GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Mizzou junior Julia Potter will head into the final round of the NCAA East Regional in a tie for 24th place after she carded a round of 75 in Friday's second round. Potter has a two-day total of 147.

    Potter made back-to-back bogies on the fourth and fifth holes on Friday on her way to a two-over-par 37 on the front nine. She then carded a three-over-par 75 on her second nine. Potter's lone birdie of the day came on the par-four 14th hole.

    Potter is one shot out of the top 20 and only four shots out of a tie for eighth place. Camilla Lennarth of Alabama leads with a 139 total followed by three players with 141 scores.

    Alabama leads with a team score of 575 after two rounds.

    The final round of the East Regional will be played on Friday, with Potter scheduled to tee off at 7:30 a.m. ET in the first group off the 10th tee.
