First and Second Round Results

STEVINSON, Calif.-- The Missouri men's golf team carded rounds of 301 and 298 on day one of the Stevinson Ranch Invitational and stands in 10th place heading into Tuesdays final round. The Tigers 599 total is just one shot behind ninth-place Portland and MU is just six shots out of a tie for sixth place.

Senior Peter Malnati is tied for 29th place with a two-round total of 149. Malnati opened the tournament with a 73, and then shot a 76 in round two. Sophomore William Harrold and senior Ryne Fisher are tied for 43rd spot with 151 totals after two rounds. Harrold shot rounds of 73 and 78, while Fisher followed an opening round 79 with a 72 in round two.

Sophomore Will Hogan is one shot behind Harrold and Fisher with rounds of 80 and 72 and is tied for 51st place. Sophomore Tyler Hillis is tied for 77th with a 156 total.

The final round will be played on Tuesday.
