Columbia, Mo. - Coming off a successful indoor campaign, the Missouri Track and Field team will begin the outdoor season at home with the 10th annual Missouri Relays at Audrey J. Walton Stadium on Friday morning.
Over 50 high school and college teams will make their way to Columbia for the two-day event, featuring some of the best high school talent from Missouri and college teams from divisions I, II, and III, NAIA and NJCAA.
The Tigers are coming off an impressive indoor season that saw the men finish in the top 25 nationally in the country, have two individual conference champions in Chris Rohr and Shannon Leinert and the team as a whole finish with four all-Americans in Rohr, Krishna Lee, Nick Adcock and Brian Hancock.
The events will get underway tomorrow at 11 a.m. with the university women's 200-meter dash open finals as the opening running event, while the university women's hammer throw open finals will begin the field events at 11:30 a.m.
