Mizzou Remains Third at Big 12 Women's Golf Championship

STILLWATER, Okla. - - Mizzou Women's Golf will head into the final round of the Big 12 Championship in third place after carding a 319 in Saturday's second round. Missouri has a two-round total of 636 and is four shots ahead of fourth-place Texas and seven shots in front of fifth-place Nebraska.
Oklahoma State leads with a 605 total, followed by Texas A&M with a 619 score after two rounds.
MU sophomore Julia Potter leads the Tigers, standing in a tie for eighth place with a 36-hole total of 155 after carding a 77 in the second round. Sophomore Michelle Morgan led the Tigers with a round of 75 on Saturday and is tied for 10th place with a two-round total of 157.
Junior Chelsea Schriewer has a 36-hole total of 163 and is tied for 24th spot. Senior Madde Augustsson and redshirt freshman Lindsey Haupt are among a group tied for 26th place with a two-round score of 164.
"Scores are high, but all things are relative with this course," Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "It's a great course with fast greens that are tough. I'm pleased with where we are and we have a good opportunity tomorrow. Hopefully, we can continue to play well."
The final round is scheduled to get underway Sunday morning.
