Tigers Battle Tough Course, Weather at `Mo'morial

BRYAN, Texas - - The Missouri women's golf team stood in 10th place at the Texas A&M `Mo'morial when play was suspended part way through the second round due to darkness. The Tigers carded a 329 in the first round, which put them in eighth place before the start of round two.
The second round will conclude on Sunday morning with the final round to immediately follow. The first round was originally scheduled for Friday, but was postponed until Saturday due to inclement weather.
Senior Madde Augustsson is currently tied for ninth place. She carded a 79 in the first round and stands at six-over-par for the tournament as she is 15 holes into her second round.
Sophomore Julia Potter and junior Chelsea Schriewer each turned in rounds of 83 in the first round, while sophomore Michelle Morgan carded an opening round 84. Redshirt freshman Madison Marcolla shot an 87 in round one.
"We're playing a tough course and it showed today," Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "Hopefully we learned some things today and that can help us tomorrow."
