Mizzou Takes Fifth at Mountain View Collegiate

Missouri carded a final round 301 and finished fifth at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. with a three-round total of 892. The Tigers finished just one shot out of a tie for third place and three shots out of second. Indiana won the tournament with a 880 total.
Freshman Julia Potter and junior Chelsea Schriewer finished tied for 15th place with 54-hole scores of 223. Potter had a final round 76 on Sunday, while Schriewer had a team-best 72 in the final round.
Redshirt freshman Madison Marcolla carded a 75 on Sunday to give her a three-round score of 225, which put her in a tie for 25th place. Senior Madde Augustsson also finished in a tie for 25th spot with a 225 total. Sophomore Michelle Morgan finished in a tie for 56th place with a 231 total after three rounds.
"I was pleased with our performance this week," Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "I'm especially pleased the play of Madison Marcolla. She put together three consistent rounds for us."
Up next for the Tigers is the Canes & Cardinal Classic in Miami, Fla. on April 7-8.
