Missouri in Third Place at Mountain View Collegiate

TUCSON, Ariz. - - The Mizzou women's golf team is in third place after two rounds of play at the Mountain View Collegiate in Tucson, Ariz. and will enter Sunday's final round just two shots out of the lead. The Tigers recorded rounds of 290-301 for a two-round total of 591.
Oklahoma and Indiana are tied for the lead with 36-hole score of 589.
Senior Madde Augustsson is in a tie for 10th place after round of 72 and 74 on Saturday. She is one shot ahead of sophomore Julia Potter, who carded rounds of 72 and 75 and is tied for 13th place.
Redshirt freshman Madison Marcolla is tied for 23rd place with a 150 total after two rounds, while junior Chelsea Schriewer is tied for 31st spot with a 151 total and sophomore Michelle Morgan is in a tie for 53rd place with a 36-hole score of 153.
"The tournament gives you the opportunity for some low scores and we were able to take advantage of that," Mizzou Head Coach Stephanie Priesmeyer said. "We are now in the right position at the right time as we have a chance to win a tournament."
The third round of the Mountain View Collegiate will be played on Sunday.
