Mizzou Stands Tied for Seventh at Longhorn Invitational

AUSTIN, Texas - - The Missouri women's golf team is among four teams tied for seventh place after the opening round of the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in Austin, Texas. The Tigers carded a round of 320 on Monday and are tied with Oklahoma, Indiana and Iowa State.
Senior Madde Augustsson turned in the best round of the day for Missouri, with a 76. She is tied for seventh in the individual standings. Two shot behind Augustsson is sophomore Julia Potter, whose 78 on Monday puts her in a tie for 19th spot. Junior Chelsea Schriewer shot a 79 and is tied for 24th place.
Sophomore Michelle Morgan recorded an 87 in the opening round, while redshirt freshman Madison Marcolla carded a 91
All of the Tigers started their rounds on the back nine in Monday's first round.. Augustsson and Schriewer each shot a one-under 35 on the front nine and Potter had a 36 on the front side.
The second round will be played on Tuesday with the final round to take place Wednesday.
