
Mizzou Takes Sixth at McHaney/Morehead Invitational

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Mizzou women's golf team took home sixth place at the McHaney/Morehead Invitational in Lubbock, Texas. After rounds of 315 and 310 on Monday, the Tigers carded a final round 303 for a final three-round total of 928.
Senior Chelsea Schriewer and junior Julia Potter led the way for Missouri, finishing among a group of four in 13th place with three-round totals of 231. Schriewer turned in a final round 78, while Potter shot her best round of the tournament on Tuesday with a 71.
Junior Michelle Morgan tied for 18th place with a 233 score, while freshman Hannah Lovelock had a final total of 238 and sophomore Lindsey Haupt had a 54-hole score of 240.
Arkansas-Little Rock won the tournament with a 908 score, finishing five shots ahead of Baylor. Sara Wikstrom of UALR won the individual competition with a 212 total for the three rounds.
Up next for the Tigers is the Price's Give'em Five Intercollegiate in Las Cruces, N.M. The three-day tournament will get underway on Oct. 13.
