LAS VEGAS, Nev. - - Three Mizzou golfers turned in rounds of even-par 72 on Tuesday in the second round of the Las Vegas Collegiate as the Tigers will head into Wednesday's final round in 11th place. Their second round score of 291 gives them a two-round total of 581.
Juniors Julia Potter and Michelle Morgan and freshman Hannah Lovelock each carded a 72 on Tuesday. For Potter, it was her second even-par round of the tournament, as she stands in a tie for 22nd place with a 36-hole score of 144.
Lovelock is tied for 28th place with a 145 total after two rounds and Morgan is tied for 38th spot with a 146 score.
Sophomore Lindsey Haupt and senior Chelsea Schriewer each turned in rounds of 75 on Tuesday. Haupt, who shot a one-under-par 71 in Monday's opening round is in among the group tied for 38th place, while Schriewer is tied for 59th with a 149 total.
Pepperdine leads with a two-day total of 550, 12 shot better than second place Louisville.
The final round of the Las Vegas Collegiate will get underway on Wednesday morning.
