Tigers Tied for Fourth at Windon Memorial

GLENVIEW, Ill. -The Missouri men's golf team is in a tie for fourth place at the Windon Memorial in Glenview, Ill. The Tigers turned in rounds of 291 and 287 on Sunday for a two-round total of 578, putting them in a tie with Northwestern. Three teams were unable to complete their second rounds due to darkness.

MU senior Peter Malnati stands two-under-par after two rounds and is tied for third place. Malnati shot a 69 in the opening round and followed with a 71 in the afternoon 18 holes.

Fellow senior Ryne Fisher carded rounds of 71 and 72 and is tied for 13th place at one-over-par. Sophomore Will Hogan is tied for 30th at four-over-par and sophomore William Harrold is in a tie for 68th place at 13-over. Another sophomore, Chris Johnson, is tied for 76th spot after rounds of 83 and 74.

The second round will be completed Monday morning, followed by the final round. Illinois enters Monday with a commanding lead.
