"I'm very proud of our team, I thought it was a very hard fought game," said Missouri Head Coach Cindy Stein. "We did some things defensively that really got the flow of the game into our favor. Our kids really, really battled and hats off to them. They did a really tremendous job of staying focused, not getting down and playing with a lot of confidence. It's a good win for us."

The Red Raiders scored the first four points of the game but the Tigers came back and took a 14-13 lead when junior Alyssa Hollins found freshman Shakara Jones for a layup with 12:25 left in the first.
