
Mizzou Finishes 11th at the Central District Invitational

PARRISH, Fla. - - The University of Missouri women's golf team opened the spring schedule with an 11th place finish at the Central District Invitational in Parrish, Fla. The Tigers were in 11th spot after the first day of play and remained in the same position after carding a round of 310 in Tuesday's final round.
Sophomore Chelsea Schriewer turned in the best round of the day for Mizzou with a 74 to give her a three-round total of 232, good for a tie for 42nd place individually.
With a 78 on Tuesday, freshman Julia Potter finished the tournament with a team-leading 230 total, placing her in a tie for 30th spot. Senior Stephanie Wavro finished 45th with a 54-hole total of 233 (81-76-76), while junior Madde Augustsson and sophomore Ellen Hoeper tied for 59th place with a 238 three-round total.
Texas A&M won the team title with a 874 total for the tournament, finishing 12 shots ahead of second-place Michigan State.
Next up for the Tigers golf team is the Texas A&M `Mo" Morial in College Station, Texas March 9-11.
