Mizzou junior pitcher has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association Preseason All-America Third Team, as released by the NCBWA. Crow was a first team All-Big 12 selection last season, leading the Tigers with nine wins on the year.
Crow was 9-4 last year with a 3.59 ERA. He struck out a team-high 90 batters on the season. Crow had two complete games, including one in the NCAA Regional against Kent State.
There are 19 conferences and 39 schools represented on the three units, which form the base for the '08 Pro-Line Athletic All-America squad and the 22nd annual Dick Howser Trophy, presented by the St. Petersburg (Fla.) Area chamber of Commerce and voted upon by the NCBWA membership. The Howser Trophy will be awarded on Saturday morning prior to Game One of the NCAA World Series at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb., on June 14, 2008, at the Omaha Press Club.
