Tigers Finish Seventh at Wolverine Invitational

HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla.- - The University of Missouri men's golf team concluded its Fall 2007 schedule by taking seventh at the Wolverine Invitational at the Mission Inn Resort & Club. The Tigers shot a final round 305 on Tuesday to finish with a three-round total of 912.

Junior Peter Malnati turned in an even-par 72 in the final round and finished in 16th place with a 54-hole total of 224.

Freshman William Harrold carded a final round 76 to finish in a tie for 29th place with a three-round total of 229. Junior Kyle Marcolla tied for 32nd place with a 230 total after a 78 on Tuesday. Junior Ryne Fisher and sophomore Bud Reynolds each carded rounds of 79 and finished in ties for 39th and 43rd place, respectively.

The tournament closed out the fall portion of the Tigers' 2007-08 schedule. Missouri will open up the spring season with the GADO-North Texas Classic in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on Feb. 17-18.
