Augustsson Moves Into a Tie for Fifth at Big 12 Championships

WACO, Texas- - The Mizzou women's golf team remains in 10th place after the second round of the Big 12 Championships in Waco, Texas. The Tigers shot a 317 in Tuesday's round for a two-round total of 633.

Junior Madde Augustsson moved into a tie for fifth place in the tournament after a 75 on Tuesday, which gives her a 36-hole score of 153.

Freshman Julia Potter carded her second-straight 79 and is in a tie for 28th place with a two-round score of 158. Sophomore Ellen Hoeper is tied for 32nd spot with a two-day total of 159 after a 79 in the second round.

Senior Stephanie Wavro is in a tie for 42nd place with a 163 total, while freshman Michelle Morgan is in 51st place with a 165 total.

Oklahoma State has taken over the lead in the tournament, holding a four-shot lead over Texas A&M heading into the final round. Mizzou is in 10th, one shot out of ninth place and three shots behind seventh place.

The final round will take place on Wednesday at the Ridgewood Country Club.
