Tigers Finish 13th at Mason Rudolph Championships

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - - The Mizzou Women's Golf team turned in its best round of the weekend with a team score of 300 on Sunday in the final round of the Mason Rudolph Championships in Franklin, Tenn. The Tigers finished 13th with a three-day total of 905.
Freshman Julia Potter led the way for Mizzou for the week, turning in the best finish of the tournament for the Tigers. Potter shot 77 on Sunday for a three-round total of 226 (72-77-77), which put her in a tie for 42nd place.
A pair of sophomores, Ellen Hoeper and Chelsea Schriewer, finished two shots behind Potter, with 54-hole scores of 228, putting them among four tied for 46th place. Hoeper carded a 76 on Sunday, while Schriewer turned in a 78.
Sophomore Madde Augustsson turned in the best final round score for Mizzou with a 73 on Sunday. She finished in a tie for 55th place, while senior Stephanie Wavro shot a 74 on Sunday and finished the tournament tied for 64th spot.
Duke won the tournament with a one-under-par score of 863 for the week.
Next up for the Tigers is the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver, Colo. On Sept. 25-26.
