Tiger Volleyball Ranked No. 21 in Final Poll

Dec. 20, 2006

COLUMBIA, Mo.--The American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) announced their final CSTV/AVCA Top-25 Coaches Poll for the 2006 season. The University of Missouri (18-13, 11-9 Big 12) finished No. 21 in the poll, up two spots from last week's poll. Although the Tigers were unranked heading into the NCAA Tournament second-round match versus No. 2, and eventual national runner-up, Stanford, a five-game stand-off put Mizzou back into national detail, spurring a No. 23 national ranking on December 5. Mizzou ends the season ranked in the top-25 for the third-straight season.
