Mizzou Volleyball will have to wait one more day before opening play in its seventh-consecutive NCAA Tournament. The Tigers' flight to Palo Alto, Calif. on Thursday was canceled due to the winter weather that has blanketed the Midwest, meaning the team will not arrive in California until Friday at the earliest. Therefore, tournament officials have pushed back the start of play in Palo Alto until Saturday.
First round matches, originally scheduled for Friday, will be played on Saturday, with the second round to take place Sunday. Mizzou and Santa Clara will begin play at 4:30 p.m. (PST) Saturday. That match can be heard on KWWC 90.5 FM in Columbia and online at mutigers.com.
