Women's Golf Concludes Play at Las Vegas Collegiate

HENDERSON, Nev. - - Mizzou freshman Julia Potter shot a season-best round of one-under 71 on the final day of the Las Vegas Collegiate on Tuesday, as the Tigers concluded the tournament with a 14th place finish. Potter, who finished with a three-day total of 225, led the team with a 44th place finish.
Potter birdied the second and third holes on her way to a 35 on Wednesday's front nine. After three bogies to start the back nine, Potter birdied the 15th hole and finished with the best round of the tournament for Missouri.
Sophomore Ellen Hoeper carded a 75 on Wednesday and finished with a 54-hole score of 227, tying for 47th place. Fellow sophomore Chelsea Schriewer finished in a tie for 52nd spot with a three-day score of 229 after a 76 in the final round.
Junior Madde Augustsson shot a 79 on Tuesday for a three-day total of 231 one shot ahead of senior Stephanie Wavro, who finished the tournament with a final round 80.
The tournament concludes the fall season for the Tigers, who will be in action next at the Central District Invitational Feb. 19-20.
