ZIONSVILLE, Ind. - - The Missouri men's golf team turned in a final round 321 on Sunday and moved up one spot to finish ninth at the Wolf Run Intercollegiate in Zionsville, Ind. The Tigers finished with a 54-hole score of 923 on the weekend.
All five Mizzou competitors finished within two shots of each other led by senior Trent Twaddle with a three-round total of 232, which placed him in a tie for 31st place individually.
A trio of Tigers finished among those tied for 34th place with final totals of 233 including senior Shawn Jasper, who turned in the best final round for Missouri with a 79 on Sunday. Senior John Kelly and sophomore Peter Malnati also finished with 54-hole totals of 233.
Redshirt freshman Bud Reynolds shot an 80 in the final round for a three-round total of 234, placing in a tie for 39th place.
Kentucky and Louisville finished the three rounds tied at 886, with Kentucky defeating Louisville on the second playoff hole.
Next up for the Tigers is the final tournament of the fall season, as they travel to Wilmington, N.C. for the Landfall Tradition Oct. 27-29.
