The final Mizzou Men's Basketball Team Camp kicked off Thursday afternoon as Head Coach Mike Anderson and his staff welcomed 61 teams from across the region to Columbia to participate in the four-day event.
Camp orientation and registration comprised the morning session on Thursday and teams began play Thursday afternoon at 4 p.m. In addition to games being played on the main floor at Mizzou Arena, teams are utilizing play surfaces inside the Mizzou Arena practice gym and the Hearnes Center Fieldhouse.
Although this will be the second of two Mike Anderson Team Camps, individuals wishing to partake in skill instruction from Anderson and his staff can do so at a variety of individual and youth camps across the state this summer.
Individual camps are highly competitive, informative, and enjoyable. Campers receive outstanding instruction from Mizzou's new staff and will have an exciting experience on the University of Missouri campus. The cost for individual camps are $350 for overnight stays and $295 for commuters. Individual camps are for students aged 10-18.
Youth camps are for boys and girls aged 6-10. Campers receive a T-Shirt and special instruction from Mizzou players and assistant coaches. The cost for the two-day youth camps are just $85.
