WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.-- - The University of Missouri Men's Golf team finished 11th at the Boilermaker Invitational, hosted by Purdue at the Kampen Course in West Lafayette, Ind. The Tigers carded a team score of 302, their best round of the weekend, on Sunday.
The top Tiger individually was junior Shawn Jasper, who finished 20th with a three-round total of 227 after shooting a 78 in Sunday's final round.
Senior Ben Scott turned in a 75 on Sunday and placed in a tie for 25th spot with a final score of 230. Junior John Kelly matched Scott with a 75 in the final round and finished the tournament with a three-round total of 233, good for a tie for 38th place.
Senior Chris Mabry tied for 50th spot with a 54-hole score of 237, followed by freshman Peter Malnati, whose 241 total placed him in a tie for 58th place.
Indiana won the tournament with a final total of 882, followed by tournament host Purdue with an 896 score.
Up next is the Big 12 Championships at Southern Hills Golf Course in Tulsa, Okla. on April 24-25.
