Mizzou Women Wrap Up Play at Mason Rudolph Invitational

FRANKLIN, Tenn. - The Missouri women's golf team finished up play in the Mason Rudolph Invitational on Sunday, carding a 320 in the final round to close out the tournament in 15th place on the Ironhorse Course at the Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin, Tenn.
Sophomore Madde Augustsson led the Tigers in the final round with a 78 on Sunday. She finished the tournament in 70th place with a three-round total of 237. A birdie on the par four 10th hole was the highlight of the day for Augustsson.
Senior Denise Munzlinger had the best finish for Mizzou, as her 54-hole score of 232 placed her in a tie for 46th after a final round of 82. Finishing one shot behind Munzlinger for the week, was junior Stephanie Wavro, whose final score of 233 (75-78-80) placed her in a tie for 48th spot.
MU senior Kelli Strubinger carded a final round 82 and finished in a tie for 66th place with a three-round total of 236, one shot ahead of Augustsson. Fellow senior Stephanie Turner finished tied for 77th place with a 54-hole score of 242.
Duke won the tournament with a three-day team score of 878, three shots ahead of second-place Georgia. Duke's Amanda Blumenherst took first individually, with a 54-hole total of 208 (69-71-68), which was eight-under par and five shots ahead of second place.
Next up for the Tigers is the Legends of Indiana Tournament in Franklin, Ind. on Oct 10-11.
