Kansas evened the weekend series with a 9-3 win on Saturday over Mizzou. The Tigers fall to 33-17 overall and 13-10 in the Big 12 Conference, while KU is 34-24 on the year and 9-13 in conference play.
With the game tied at two, the Jayhawks score three unearned runs in the sixth inning to hold a 5-2 lead. They would add a pair of runs in the seventh, one scoring on a solo home run by Ritchie Price.
Missouri scored a run in the bottom of the seventh, as junior J.C. Field singled to drive in sophomore John McKee who reached on a double.
McKee was 3-for-4 on the day with two runs scored.
KU added a pair of runs in the ninth for the final 9-3 score. Jayhawks starting pitcher, Mike Zagurski recorded a complete game victory, striking out 12 and walking none.
Junior Trevor Helms was 2-for 4 on the day and freshman Jacob Priday had two RBIs.
Sunday's series finale with be the final home game of the season for the Tigers. First pitch for Sunday is at 1 p.m.
