LAKESIDE, Calif. - - Entering the final two rounds of the Taylor Made Barona Cup in 19th place, the Mizzou Men's Golf team moved to ninth with rounds of 282 and 277 on Tuesday in Lakeside, Calif. The Tigers three-round total of 848 (16-under par) was one shot out of eighth place and five shots out of seventh.

The second round of the tournament was completed Tuesday morning after play was suspended on Monday due to poor weather conditions. The third and final round was also played on Tuesday, following the completion of round two.

Missouri senior Ben Scott shot rounds of 69 and 67 on Tuesday to finish with a 54-hole total of 67, placing him in a tie for 23rd place to lead the Tigers. Scott improved each round, moving from a tie for 80th spot after round one for the 23rd place finish.

Freshman Ryne Fisher shot a three-round total of 212 (71-71-70) to finish tied for 31st place. One shot behind Fisher was senior Chris Mabry who followed a second round 72 with a two-under par 70 in the final round for a three round total of 213, placing him in a tie for 37th.

Junior Shawn Jasper tied for 48th spot with a final total of 216 (73-70-73) and junior John Kelly tied 71 with a score of 219 (75-74-70).

Brigham Young won the tournament with an 822 total for the three rounds, 12 shots ahead of second place Fresno State.

Next up for Mizzou will be the final event of the fall, as it competes in the Hooters Collegiate Match Play Tournament on Nov. 11-13.
