Columbia, Mo. -The Missouri women's tennis program completed its three-day Mock Dual tournament Sunday, after taking on teams from Arkansas, Iowa State and Kansas State.

Opening action on Friday, the Tigers took two of three doubles matches from Kansas State in the morning session and the Tigers No. 1 doubles tandem of Lubica Nadasska and Hana Kraftova knocked off Arkansas' top-ranked doubles team (Yelena Kaluder and Aurelija Miseviciute). Missouri was defeated in spots two and three.

Playing into early Friday evening, the Tigers split six singles matches with conference opponent Iowa State.

"We played OK on Friday," Missouri Head Coach Blake Starkey said. "Erika Josbena and Stephanie Johns played with great intensity throughout the weekend. A couple of our girls weren't as intense, and that is something we'll address. We are a young team that wasn't at full strength and it showed. We saw some things we liked and some things we'll be working on."

Competition continued through Sunday, with all teams playing a mock-dual format throughout the weekend.

The Tigers will return to action Oct. 19-23 when they compete in the Omni Invitational in Salt Lake City.
