Columbia, Mo. - For the first time ever, the University of Missouri will webcast its football game this Saturday with New Mexico on a delayed basis. The game, pitting the 1-0 Tigers and the 1-0 Lobos, will kick off at MU's Memorial Stadium at 6 p.m. (central), with the webcast airing at 9 p.m.
The webcast is available on the new "Mizzou All-Access" video subscription service on the official website of MU Athletics, www.mutigers.com. The cost to subscribe to the service is $4.95 for the first month, and $6.95 each month afterward. A season pass can also be purchased for $39.95 which covers an entire 12-month span.
All six of MU's 2005 home football games will be shown on a delayed basis, with 9 p.m. being the anticipated start time each night. Additionally, each of MU's road games will be available on the package on a delayed basis, with details to be announced.
Subscribers will also have at their disposal live football press conferences held during the week and other special video features. Also being shown live on the package are popular radio talk shows such as "Tiger Talk" and the "Mike Alden Show," in addition to on-demand showings of television programs such as "This Week in Mizzou Football" and "This week in Mizzou Basketball."
Other features taking place this fall for Mizzou All-Access subscribers include live webcasts of all home contests for the sports of volleyball and soccer, as well as highlight packages for cross country, swimming and diving, men's and women's golf and women's tennis. Much more content is planned for the service, including home and away men's and women's basketball games (some shown live, some on a delayed basis, with details to be announced).
It is important to note that those wishing to have live online audio broadcasts of Mizzou football and basketball games need to subscribe to a separate service, provided by Yahoo! Fans can sign up for this service by clicking on the "Live Audio" link located on the front page of MU's website.
