Mizzou Women's Golf Named Among NGCA's All-Scholar Teams

The Mizzou Women's Golf Team was recognized by the National Golf Coaches Association for its cumulative grade-point average (GPA) for the 2004-05 school year. MU's 3.465 cumulative GPA ranked 18th in the nation.

Earlier this year the Tigers had three players named to the National Golf Coaches Association All-Scholar Team. Mizzou advanced to its first NCAA Championship in school history last year, finishing in 16th place at the national tournament in May.

The University of South Carolina was given the NGCA All-Scholar Team GPA Award, recording a 3.752 cumulative GPA last school year. The Tigers were third among Big 12 Conference schools, behind Nebraska (7th) and Kansas State (17th).
