Columbia, Mo- Senior Katka Sevcikova has been named to the 2005 All-Big 12 team as announced by the conference office earlier this week. The honor marks Sevcikova's third recognition as a first team singles player.

Sevcikova led the Tigers to a 14-8 overall record this season. Playing at No. 1 singles, Sevcikova posted a 14-7 record with wins over two top-50 opponents in Nebraska's #19 Gitte Ostermann and Indiana's #30 Dora Vastag. She also combined with teammate Carolyn Kramer at the No. 1 doubles spot to post a 14-4 record.

Sevcikova rounds out her collegiate career ranking as Missouri's third all-time winningest singles player with an 80-50 record and owns a 67 percent victory ratio. Sevcikova is also Missouri's career doubles leader with a 104-57 record. She ranks seventh in single season doubles play winning percentage with a 75 percent victory ratio
