#9 Missouri Falls to #1 Baylor in Big 12 Championship

Austin, Texas -- The Mizzou Tiger tennis team was eliminated from the 2005 Big 12 Championship falling to #1 Baylor, 4-0. Dropping the No.1 and No. 2 doubles matches and No. 2, No. 3 and No. 5 singles points, the Tigers opted to forgo playing the remaining contests. The loss drops Missouri to 15-9 on the season.

"We played a better team, our hats are off to them," Mizzou Head Coach Blake Starkey said. "This one match doesn't take away from the positives this year has brought. I'm really proud of this group and look forward to next season."
