Mizzou-Iowa State Game Chosen for ABC

Nov. 2, 2004

Columbia, Mo. - The University of Missouri's Nov. 27th football game in Ames, Iowa against Iowa State has been chosen for an ABC Sports regional broadcast, and will kickoff at 12 p.m. (central) to accommodate the telecast.

That will mark the eighth game overall in 2004, that MU has been chosen for television. Mizzou's other TV games this year included games at Troy (ESPN-2), at home versus Colorado (ABC) at Baylor (Fox Sports Net), at Texas (ABC), at home against Oklahoma State (ABC), at Nebraska (FSN) and this Saturday at home against Kansas State (FSN).

The only game left to be determined is the Nov. 20th home game against Kansas. Mizzou officials expect to find out next Monday (Nov. 8th) if the game will be chosen for television or not.

Tickets can be purchased to MU's remaining home games (Nov. 6 vs. Kansas State; and Nov. 20 vs. Kansas) by calling the Mizzou ticket office at 1-800-CAT-PAWS (884-PAWS in Columbia), or by ordering online at www.mutigers.com. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the Mizzou ticket office, which is now located permanently in the Paige Sports Arena, adjacent to the North lobby entrance to the building.
