Columbia, MO - The University of Missouri women's golf team was outstanding on Saturday, moving from ninth place to fifth place following the second round of the Mason Rudolph Invitational in Franklin, Ind. The Tigers shot a 291 in Saturday's second round that included three Tiger players who shot even par 72 on the day. Mizzou is just two strokes behind Big 12 foe Texas, who is in fourth and only seven strokes out of the top three.
"This was a very solid effort from our kids and I couldn't be prouder of the way they are competing," Head Coach Stephanie Cooper said. "We need to finish strong tomorrow and hopefully we can make a run at the top three."

Ohlsson shot 72 on the day and moved into a tie for third place, just three strokes off of the lead. Junior Denise Knaebel was also excellent, recovering from an opening-round 77 with a sparkling round of 72, moving into a tie for 26th (159), just five strokes out of the top 10.
