Mizzou will play 36 holes on Saturday and then wrap up play in the tourney on Sunday with an 18-hole final round. The Lady Northern will be played at the University of Michigan Golf Course (par 72, 5,966 yards) and will feature a 15-team field that includes all 11 Big 10 squads. "This should be a great season-opening test for us and we are looking forward to the challenge of competing against several top schools," 2003-04 Big 12 Coach of the Year Stephanie Cooper said. "We have had some great competition in qualifying and I think our squad is focused and ready to go." The Tigers enter the year as the No. 17 team in America according to Golf Week and garnered a No. 25-anking by Golf World after flirting with the top 25 for most of 2003-04. Led by Moberly, MO, native Denise Knaebel and senior Maria Ohlsson, the Tigers will take on the field that includes six squads that advanced to NCAA Regional play last season.
