Mizzou Football Replay TV Show Debuts This Week

Sept. 6, 2004

Columbia, Mo. - Fans of the Missouri Tiger football team now can catch the highlights of each game once again on television, thanks to a new show that debuts in select markets around the state this week. The show, called the Mizzou Football Replay Show, is a 60-minute show that will consist of the vast majority of plays from each game, with the Tiger Radio Network audio overlaid onto the game footage. A joint venture of Mizzou Athletics, Mizzou Sports Properties and KOMU-TV, the show will air 11 times during the season - after each of the 19th-ranked Tigers' games. "We're excited about this venture, and pleased for our fans that they will be able to see a unique show like this," said Laird Veatch, general manager of Mizzou Sports Properties, which is the multi-media rights holder for Mizzou Athletics. "This is a great way to increase the exposure of the program and we're anticipating that this is going to be a very popular show for our fans," he said. The first show airs this Wednesday at 8 p.m. on Mediacom in the mid-Missouri and south-Missouri region. A full schedule of clearances follows below:
