Columbia, Mo. - Tiger basketball fans who want to watch Mizzou take on its 2004-05 slate of opponents in the Mizzou Arena still have the opportunity to do so. After selling over 9,200 season tickets during the select-a-seat program, which ran from April 5-June 25th, there are approximately 160 season tickets (80 general public and 80 in the Family Fun Section) available for purchase.
Interested parties can contact the Tiger Development Office at (573) 882-0704 for more information and to purchase remaining season tickets. Here is a quick ticketing breakdown for the new home of Tiger Basketball, Mizzou Arena.
App. Capacity: 15,000 - Season tickets sold: Over 9,200 (2003-04: Total of 7,400 season tickets sold in the Hearnes Center).o 22 of the 26 Suites have been sold
o All loge boxes (16) and club seats (1,000) are sold out
Season tickets remaining:
o 80 general public season tickets
o 80 season tickets in the Family Fun Section
o 100 single-game tickets will also be held back on a game-by-game basis.
How the Select-a-Seat Process Worked
o 2,400 individuals purchased 9,200 season tickets during the select-a-seat process from April 5th to June 25th.
o Following that process, tickets have been sold on a first-come, first serve basis.
o Information on purchasing season tickets was sent out in July of 2003 to 25,000 people including
X Basketball Season Ticket Holders
X Football Season Ticket Holders
X Individuals who have purchased single-game tickets over the course of the past three years
X All Faculty and Staff
X All Alumni who did not fall in the groups listed above who lived in a 50-mile radius of Columbia.
o Upon receipt of their letter of intent (which was included in the July 2003 mailer), interested parties were scheduled for their appointment to select their seats in the PSA.
