Austin, Texas - After the final day of competition, the Missouri women's swimming and diving team finished in sixth place with 374.50 points and the men's team finished third with 604 points.
Over the course of the championship week, the Missouri women's team had 45 personal bests set and the men set a total of 62 personal bests.
In the platform diving events, sophomore Evan Watters placed third followed by sophomore Aaron Wionzek in fourth. For the women, sophomore Nicole Frazier came from behind and placed fourth with the score of 378.80. Junior Anna Massey added a 10th place finish for the Tigers on platform.
Leading the Missouri women, sophomore Liz Schoborg placed second in the 200-yard butterfly followed by senior Rebecca Wolfe in third. Schoborg's time ranks her second all-time in Missouri history behind Wolfe and is an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
In the men's 200-yard backstroke sophomore Chris Lukas led the Missouri men as he finished in fifth place while freshman Jason Lyons placed eighth.
In the women's 200-yard breaststroke junior Mariona Costa placed seventh followed by senior Ellen Borgo in fourteenth place. For the men, junior Matt North finished in fifth with his time of 2:00.70, an NCAA provisional time, followed by senior Chris Musfeldt in seventh place.
In the men's 200-yard butterfly sophomore David Darmitzel was the lone Missouri men's representative on the awards podium as he placed seventh with the time of 1:53.00.
