Missouri Softball Plays Black and Gold at Home

Columbia, Mo. - Ranked fifth in the competitive Big 12 Conference, the Missouri softball team (4-11) returns home from a three week stretch of travel to play in the intersquad Black and Gold Game, Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. on University Field.

Led by 2003 Big 12 Coach of the Year Ty Singleton, the team of 16 women will divide into three teams and rotate play for seven innings.

Entrance to the Black and Gold game is free and fans are encouraged to come out and see their Tiger team in action.

The three Missouri teams for the Saturday afternoon game are as follows:

The Missouri softball team will return to competitive play on Tuesday, March 2, in a doubleheader at home against Oklahoma City University. With game one slated to begin at 2 p.m., the Tigers and Stars will pair in game two beginning at 4 p.m.
