Q: How do you think the preseason trip to Brazil has helped prepare the team for this season?
A: "It brought the team closer together. The younger girls got to know the older girls better and there was a lot of team bonding."
Q: What was the highlight of the trip for you?
A: "Doing something that I love in a place with beautiful scenery and getting to meet players from other teams. I liked experiencing a different culture."
Q: What are you expecting from your freshman season?
A: "In high school I played offense and now I am learning a defensive position. I just want to learn the position and make an impact on the team."
Q: What does Coach Blitz expect from you this season? A: "I guess make the transition to college soccer and improve my skill level. Coach expects us to play with heart and learn from the other girls."
Q: What has been the hardest part of adjusting to collegiate sports?
A: "Conditioning and the skill level."
Q: You are from Columbia originally. How did this effect your decision to come to Missouri?
A: "At first I wanted to go out of state, but after my visit I felt like I fit in with the team here."
