If you're wondering what the Tigers will be doing this 2003 Spring season, the schedule at home will look similar to last season's.
The Tigers will be hosting the Shang Hai Women's Volleyball team from Shang Hai, China. The tentative date of arrival for the team is April 28th.
The Tigers and the Shang Hai team will be practicing together and wrapping up their training with an exhibition match on May 3rd (tentative date).
The Shang Hai women's volleyball team will be making their first-ever appearance in the United States; however, the Tigers competed against the Shang Hai team previously during their visit to China in 2001.
The Shang Hai team has five National Championship titles in its bag, along with having been ranked in the Top 10 for the past 20 years. In 2001, the Shang Hai team defeated the Australian National Team, along with competing against various other teams from across the world.
The team has produced numerous Chinese National Team players and continues to train their athletes at a very high level.
Fans will have a chance to meet the Tigers and the Shang Hai team members at various functions on May 3rd as the athletes will be holding the 2nd annual Tiger-Chinese Youth Clinic, followed by a reception open to the public.
